Network/System Administrator, Tier 2/3 Support Specialist, and Cybersecurity/Compliance Support Job Openings in Washington DC Metro Area
The positions are open to 1099 contractors and are onsite or hybrid onsite/remote in Washington DC. All candidates must be U.S. citizens or work-authorized, and able to pass a Capitol Police background check for House badging. Roles will be structured as full-time positions, with assignments expected to run about 12 months at a time, often renewed annually based on performance and need.

Network / Systems Administrator (Washington DC):
We currently Network Systems Administrator for a great opportunity in Washington, DC. This position is primarily on-site but may allow for hybrid or remote flexibility if the candidate meets all background and compliance requirements.
Network Systems Administrator Responsibilities:
– Manage Active Directory, Windows Server environments, VPNs, and Cisco networking.
– Handle patching, monitoring, and backups.
– Ensure compliance with house IT security policies.
Network Systems Administrator Qualifications:
– Must have 3 to 5 years of experience as a Network / Systems Administrator.
– Need experience with Windows Server (2016+).
– Need experience with Cisco networking (CCNA/Network+).
– Need experience with Microsoft 365/Azure.
– Experience with Security+ is preferred.
Tier 2 / Tier 3 IT Support Specialist (Washington DC):
We currently have a great opportunity for a Tier 2 / Tier 3 IT Support Specialist. This position is primarily on-site but may allow for hybrid or remote flexibility if the candidate meets all background and compliance requirements.
Tier 2 / Tier 3 IT Support Specialist Responsibilities:
– Provide escalated IT support.
– Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 applications, VPNs, printers, and peripherals.
– Support VIP users.
– Document and escalate issues as needed.
Tier 2 / Tier 3 IT Support Specialist Qualifications:
– Need 2 to 4 years of experience as an IT Support Specialist.
– Need experience with Microsoft 365.
– Need experience with VPN troubleshooting.
– Need experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM.
– You should have an A+/Network+ certification.
Cybersecurity / Compliance Analyst (Washington DC):
We are currently looking for a Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst for a great opportunity in Washington, DC. This position is primarily on-site but may allow for hybrid or remote flexibility if the candidate meets all background and compliance requirements.
Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst Responsibilities:
Enforce in-house cybersecurity policies (HISPOL/HISPUB), monitor logs and endpoints, manage privileged accounts, support compliance checks, and assist with incident response.
Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst Qualifications:
– Need to have 4 to 6 years of Cybersecurity and Compliance Analyst experience.
– A Security+ certification is required.
– Experience with vulnerability scanning and cloud security (Microsoft 365/AWS).
– A CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification is preferred.
