ServiceNow Developer, TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph Security Clearance Required (Chantilly, VA):

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join the team in support of Federal Government clients. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform. We have multiple openings for this opportunity. The qualified ServiceNow Systems Developer must have an active TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph security clearance. This position is 100% Onsite and not open for Remote.

ServiceNow Developer Responsibilities:

– Develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
– Collaborate with business analysts, administrators, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective solutions.
– Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using ServiceNow best practices and coding standards.
– Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.
– Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and tools used by Federal Government clients.
– Optimize application performance and scalability.
– Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members.
– Stay current with ServiceNow updates, patches, and new features.

ServiceNow Developer Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
– Need to have an active TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph security clearance.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
– ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Certification.
– Strong proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages, such as JavaScript and AngularJS.
– Experience with ServiceNow APIs, integrations, and web services.
– Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices, such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
– Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum and Jira.
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
– Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field is a plus.
– ServiceNow Certified Integration Specialist Certification is a plus.
– Experience working with Federal Government clients and understanding of their requirements is a plus.
– Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Human Resources (HR), and Customer Service Management (CSM) ServiceNow applications.

ServiceNow Developer, TS/SCI Security Clearance Required (Springfield, VA):

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join the team in support of Federal Government clients. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be participating in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of the ServiceNow platform following vendor best practices. The qualified ServiceNow Systems Developer must have an active TS/SCI security clearance. This position is 100% Onsite and not open for Remote.

ServiceNow Developer Responsibilities:

– Complete hands-on development within the ServiceNow platform including but not limited to client scripts, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, data policies, workflow, flow designer, integration hub spokes, the script includes, catalog items, portal widgets, UI pages, event, and alert rules.
– Perform code review of peer development changes to ensure compliance with the ServiceNow Development standards and vendor’s best practices.
– Lead upgrade/patch skip remediation ensuring compliance with the ServiceNow Development standards and vendor’s best practices.
– Works with the Business / Product Team and development team to provide an estimated level of effort.
– Take ownership of high-level/complex business requirements and work them to completion.
– Understand business user stories/requirements to provide the technical design and solution for product enhancements / new features.
– Deliver product enhancements, new features, and defect fixes on time and error-free.
– Collaborate with many teams and stakeholders locally and remotely to efficiently deliver high-quality product enhancements, new features, and defect fixes.
– Provide updated documentation of all product work including but not limited to, design documentation, technical operations/support documentation, and release notes.
– Support existing and build new interfaces and have a good understanding of available integrations with 3rd party tools.
– Ensure all work adheres to the processes, policies, and best practices for development and the platform for ServiceNow.
– Comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow Discovery and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) best practices.
– Maintain updated knowledge of product capabilities to ensure we are best utilizing the platform with minimal customization.
– Assist team members with support issues.
– Participate in daily standups to report status, delays, and risks to scrum master/team leads / management.
– Work with members of the team, vendors, and other teams in support of application performance tuning and troubleshooting.
– Ensure the system maintains compliance with policies and procedures.
– Mentor other team members as needed and provide technical guidance to the process and management teams.
– Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all processes and procedures.

ServiceNow Developer Qualifications:

– High school diploma or GED equivalent and relevant experience including 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow Platform development, 2+ years of experience in ITSM development and 3+ years of experience in Agile development practices.
– ServiceNow CSA Certification (preferred).
– ServiceNow CAD Certification (preferred).
– Need to have an active TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph security clearance.
– Ability to script complex scenarios during interactive sessions.
– Demonstrable experience creating and maintaining ServiceNow Logic, Scripts, and Integrations.
– Effectively and professionally communicate with management, internal staff and customers as well as demonstrate sound judgment/reasoning skills.
– Ability to work independently to achieve exceptional results.
– Demonstrated ability to deliver quality work on time and translate planning into action.
