Job Description:
Trading Systems Operations Analyst
$60-$100K
1st, 2nd or 3rd Shifts available. 7am-4pm, 2pm-11pm and 10pm-7am.
The Trading Systems Operations team is charged with ensuring availability of all production Trading System Components. The focus areas for this team include system monitoring, data management, release and configuration management, and ownership of Chronic System problems. This position calls for a candidate with a combination of technical expertise and electronic trading system support experience.
Responsibilities:
-Provide enterprise level system monitoring and support for proprietary trading systems.
-Administration and 1st level support of 3rd party platforms (TT, Thomson, Activ, Orc) accounts.
-Provide application and IT Infrastructure support including incident, problem, request, and change management.
-Thoroughly document all incidents for report generation, summarizing incidents for trend analysis and root cause determination.
-Deploy, Configure, and verify proprietary trading software releases.
-Daily verification and support of dynamic trading market data, prices, and product lists.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
-3 to 5 years of experience working in the financial industry, preferably a trading firm, exchange or trading industry vendor.
-Windows and Linux system administration experience.
-Perl, VBA, PHP, or other scripting language or similar programming language.
-Demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills.
-Previous experience developing or supporting electronic trading systems.
-Excellent communication and written skills required.
