Trader Workflow Developer

Design, architect and implement innovative trader facing technology solutions. Full cycle application development utilizing multiple languages and targeting both Linux and Windows OS platforms. Continued development and support of key server side applications and frameworks in line with business needs. Help to define and implement key pieces of application infrastructure required to support high performance, data intensive applications.

Responsibilities:
-Unify the trader’s workflow across all aspects of idea exploration, experimentation, simulation, quantitative model generation and trading.
-Liaise with traders and other technologists in the support of new, innovative technology solutions.
-Develop scalable and reliable data driven applications to support the trader’s model management.
-Work with teams to support and maintain key server side trading technologies.
-Build internal tools and libraries to increase the efficiency of development and operational processes.

Qualifications:
-Exceptionally proficient in Java or C#.
-Experience in Python or similar dynamic language.
-Experience in SQL and SQL scripting.
-Familiarity with both Linux and Windows environments.
-Logical approach to performance tuning, debugging and support issue resolution.
-Ability to manage numerous software development priorities with ease.
-Consistently improving skill set and knowledge base.
-Willingness to work on the cutting edge of technology.
-Iterative development style.
-Efficient communicator.
-Easy going nature.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with NoSQL databases.
-Experience with data interchange technologies (JSON, XML etc.).
-Web/client UI development skills.
-Experience developing high performance data streaming systems.
-Working knowledge of Git.
